Unlike every attempt at the video game, no one died of dysentery, and we safely reached the end of the Oregon trail! Far too many dad jokes were made along the journey.
Among the attractions we explored together were the Pacific Coast, the world’s largest bookstore, Lewis and Clark National Historic site, Hoyt Arboretum, and The Portland Japanese Gardens. The gardens being the park that Kat was most excited to see. It did not disappoint at all. It was a great Zenlike (see dad joke) last stop as Kat was flying out the next day with Carri flying in to continue the adventure with me.
