While making the basic itinerary I asked Kat to pick out some short side trips while we traveled to Portland. Craters of the Moon National Monument is on of the sites she listed. As always she chose well. Craters is amazing and should be more than i side trip. The lava fields and tubes were a great hiking experience.
I am missing all the photos from the hike up the main hill there with panoramic view that i know I took. I am searching through backups. Maybe more to come.
