An early morning after our long travel day was rewarded with Elk right at the Yellowstone gates. Kat got an amazing video of the elk bugling.
Since we only had a couple of days in the park, I asked Kat choose the experience she wanted to pursue on her first visit: volcanic/geothermic, landscape, or wildlife. She chose wildlife. We did well in that pursuit with the exception of the bear and wolf sighting. They were very far out and toward the end of golden hour.
I am trying to keep these galleries smaller, but Yellowstone is such an amazing diverse park that it is difficult.
