Halfway point of the journey arrived, with Kat flying out and Carri arriving the next morning. Our goal was to make it to our hotel outside of Redwood National Park after stops at Silver Falls State Park for a quick hike and Crater Lake National Park for sunset photography and exploration. Both deserve more time than we alloted but that’s for a return trip.
